In 2003, Tori Tinsley received her BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Michigan School of Art & Design. Later in 2007, she received her Master of Arts in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Currently, Tori is a visual artist, art therapist, and licensed professional counselor living and creating in Atlanta, GA. Her new series of work addresses the dichotomy of memories relived in the present and the simultaneous deterioration of these experiences due to progressive dementia. With the Mom's Laugh Project, Tori seeks to raise awareness of dementia and its effects on both the person diagnosed with the disease and those who care for them.
